Open Invitation

The launch of Reddam House Constantia in Cape Town in the year 2000 signalled the birth of Reddam House Schools in South Africa. Cradled by majestic mountains in the beautiful Constantia Valley and overlooking the historic Steenberg vineyards and the magnificent Steenberg golf estate, Reddam House Constantia extends an open invitation to meet the Head of School.
We invite you to experience our school and its world-class educational facilities first-hand; to explore our centre of academic, cultural and sporting excellence and meet the dynamic teachers, handpicked to inspire exceptional learning experiences.

Campus Life

With architecture in keeping with the Cape vernacular, Reddam House Constantia has a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere. Spread over 32 prime acres, the Constantiacampus boasts extensive facilities, including art, drama, dance and music studios, computer and science labs, a huge hall and a well-resourced library. The canteen is managed by local health food chain Kauai.
With the addition of Stage 1 and 2 in 2018, Reddam House Constantia currently caters for Stage 3 to Grade 12 students affiliated with the Independent Examinations Board (IEB) – and offering a diverse, stimulating subject choice – highly qualified, dynamic, experienced teachers are the custodians of your children’s futures.

The multi-purpose hall is used for indoor hockey, netball and mixed martial arts, as well as the manyperforming arts showcases, assemblies, theatre productions and other events. The hockey AstroTurf is well-used by both Preparatory and College students.

Reddam House Constantia provides a thriving, vibrant cultural offering, with specialist teachers in the fields of art, drama, dance and music offered in the College to Grade 12; annual drama productions; four dance genres: ballet, tap, hip-hop and modern; music; design and languages. Music is very strong, with an award-winning Preparatory Orchestra, four choirs and many of the student body playing musical instruments.
